a great purchaseJune 2, 2010 Carly(Denver) This shower head was easy to install, looks nice and works well. There is a setting for every need and the hose is plenty long. I just moved to a new house and am missing this shower so ordering a new one today.

I bought this unit based upon it's high reviews here. Kinda wich I hadn't now.
While I agree that it is seemimgly well-made piece (hose, mount, connectors), I found the spray selection dial to be of poor design. It's a small little knub that doesn't dial-in easily to one's choice of spray selection. I can get past this but I suspect senior citizens and those with poor eyesight may struggle.
The handle of the spray head is also small. I take the sprayhead in and out of the it's "holster" several times during a shower and really don't give it much thought as a rule however with the small size of the handheld spray head, you could easlily miss it's base when putting it back.
And despite removing the flow restrictor, I found spray pressure to be worse than the previous handhelf shower massage it was replacing.
Finally, the spray settings were not to my liking ... but that's more of a personal preferance I suppose. I like the traditional spray but with the option of a more narrorwed flow. This allows for more concentrated pressure when it comes time for cleaning the shower. It is also a nice spray choice where the shower base rests relatively high.
I uninstalled this unit from our master bath and moved it to a guest bath. I ended up going back to a basic Water-Pik offering that had the sprayhead I was partial to.
It's OkayFebruary 2, 2010 WM(MN) First as people have stated the hose is only five feet. Not six as is advertised. As soon as I looked at it and noticed that it was one foot short. I almost sent it back. But I really needed a new shower faucet. I just used my old six foot hose with this new faucet. That worked just fine.
Next thing I noticed is the actual product is different in appearance from the one pictured here on 02/01/10. Different color and maybe the center of the dial is a bit different too. This appearance difference is of no concern for me. Just an observation.
My wife isn't happy with the water pressure. I'm okay with it. I will most likely follow reviewer J.J. Weiss' lead and remove the restrictor. I feel a bit guilty just thinking about doing it. But maybe I'll do it anyway. BTW JJ WEISS I really appreciate your very good review here.
I did loosen the collar a little and the head moves freely and stays put whatever direction I leave it at.
This five spray faucet head is more like a variable speed. As you turn the "dial" the spray changes gradually. I've never had one like this before. It's a nice feel.
