Get the model sold at Lowe's instead! Amazing Water Pressure!August 28, 2010 J. True(St. Louis, MO) I guess Amazon.com won't like this review, since I'm saying go buy somewhere else, but I came here to bask in the drenching glory of what was sure to be rave reviews of the soaking power of this awesome showerhead. Instead I see a lot of "pressure OK", or "pressure sucks".
Granted, my model number is 75525, and granted, I apparently had a really really crappy previous showerhead, so you're expectations may vary. But if you google the above model number, you'll see a difference in the shower spray holes as compared to 75520, and also there is a lever to change the shower spray, vs. having to turn the face of the shower head. Which as we all know is a pain! Yes it's more expensive at Lowe's but I really like this model with the lever.
Yes, it is not all metal, but if you want all metal, I think you'd have to be willing to spend 5 times as much or more. Remember to only hand tighten these plastic shower heads when installing, you only use the wrench to remove your old shower head.
Our house doesn't have the greatest water pressure, but with this new showerhead I felt absolutely drenched in water. I felt so environmentally guilty at the deluge of water I must have been using, LOL. I was thinking it's too much water! There's 5 settings, the Drenching Full Spray, where I literally felt drenched, the Standard Full Spray, which was great for rinsing out shampoo, as it was a bit more forceful than the drenching, then the Full Spray with Massage, and then the massage (which I liked a lot), and the trickle if you want to save water while lathering.
Delta means qualityAugust 18, 2010 Robert Harris(Phoenix Az) I have three hand held shower faucets in my residence. They have become clogged with our hard water and I've needed to replace them. I replaced one with a Alson brand and wasn't really as happy as this Delta unit. I also like the black insert in the hand held shower head. My negative would be my preference to have the black collar piece in brass to match the hose and cradle but that's a minor thing. Overall, I like the looks and quality and also all the spray options as well.
LOVE IT!July 12, 2010 horse lover(Omaha) I bought this handheld faucet at Home Depot on clearance. Thought I might take it back because of the bad reviews re: water pressure, but decided to try it out first. I LOVE THIS FAUCET!! The water pressure is AMAZING! (the massage setting is so powerful it's actually like getting a massage.) I'm not sure why people have had problems with this, but I sure haven't. If you have decent pressure, BUY THIS FAUCET!
So far very pleasedJuly 4, 2010 Thom This was very easy to install, only took a few minutes. Directions clear.
So far I am very pleased. We'll see what kind of life span it has.
Good looking shower head with weak fllowMay 21, 2010 scutpuppy(houston, TX) This shower head is affordable for a brass shower head. It is well made for the price. The flow for the shower setting is slow while the flow for the massage setting is too strong. This is definitely a design flaw. There is a small round black washer at the inflow end of the shower head which can be removed and this will improve the flow to adequate. Overall, it is a pretty good and affordable brass shower head. I would recommend it if you really need a brass handheld shower head. Otherwise, I would stick with the regular brass shower head to get better flow or go with another handheld shower head.
